Single-Vehicle Crash Kills One in Kenton Neighborhood

A motorcycle operator has died in the Kenton Neighborhood.

On August 30, 2022, at 6:30 a.m., North Precinct Officers were dispatched to an injury crash near the intersection of North Expo Road and Expo Transit Center. Officers arrived to find a motorcycle operator deceased after what appears to be a single-vehicle crash into a tree.

Portland's Major Crash Team (MCT) has responded to investigate. The immediate area will be closed while MCT conducts their investigation. The name of the deceased will be released after the Medical Examiner confirms cause and manner of death, and after family is notified.
